"Dia de Oaxaca" - Salisbury Vineyards' Harvest Festival Open House, November 8, 2009

Celebrate a day of life, love and remembrance with our family and the extended families of those who make our vineyards thrive.  This day will be filled with Oaxacan food, dancing and art.  Pay tribute to those who have passed by viewing the beautiful handcrafted altars while sampling traditionally prepared molé, a delectable dish combining chocolate, peanut and chile flavors.  Our Salisbury Vineyards' wines will be paired with the spicy, rich and sweet delicacies of Oaxaca.

Salisbury's Open House Schedule: 

9:30 am to 11:00 am - Our biannual "Hair of the Dawg" pancake breakfast with Oaxacan influence (complimentary for Grand Tasters, our club members and children; others $10)

11:00 am to 4:00 pm - "Dia de Oaxaca" (Open House)

SALISBURY'S AUCTION ITEM:

"Come Fly with Me" - Donors - Dave Casey, Bob Dusair and Salisbury Vineyards
Fly away in vintage military trainers with pilots Dave Casey and Bob Dusair.  Two brave guests will participate in a mock dogfight over Avila Beach or if you prefer, just enjoy a relaxing aerial tour of the coastline.  Later, join winegrape grower John Salisbury, winemaker Harold Osborne and your pilots for a wild west lunch at the historic Far Western Tavern in Guadalupe.    Starting bid: $500.00
